I am currently living north-east of Kingston on a small homestead with my partner and son, which has given me the space and materials to explore larger, more physical mediums, mainly wood. For these pieces I have used a scroll saw and a chop saw as well as various sanding materials. Any paints used are Tri-Art products but I can never remember which ones specifically as I use all of them!

Statement:

I am particularly drawn to wood as a medium because it lends its own personality and ideas to your own, and it becomes a collaboration rather than a solo piece. This collection started with cast off bamboo used in Tri-Art Audio products and progressed to wood grown on my property.
