Bio:

I was born and raised in Kingston and I have loved to draw since I could hold a crayon. I took art classes all through school. Life is my inspiration, colour is my own personal love affair. Painting is my therapy.

Statement:

This painting is my interpretation of the beauty that can be found in destruction. I was inspired by the destruction of our beautiful rainforest in British Columbia and all the filming of the fires that threatened their existence. Although it is a natural tragedy at the end of it there is life a new, born from the ashes.
