Beyond Acrylic Paint: Acrylic Mediums Workshop with Tori Smyth

Join local artist and Tri-Art lover, Tori Smyth, in this workshop dedicated to Tri-Art mediums and how to use them. Participants will get to explore a selection of Tri-Art mediums that can be incorporated into your day-to-day studio practice to bring texture and interesting moments to your pieces.

 

Students will be encouraged to experiment and play with ready-made examples, and through creating their own mini-swatches and acrylic transfers, and will leave with a multi-layered, textural mixed media piece of their own creation.

 

Some painting experience is helpful, but not mandatory. Participants are asked to bring 1-2 images of their choice (must either be their own or from the public domain) to be used during image transfers.

Registration Details: 2 - 4 hour sessions

Please note! Art Noise requires a minimum of 4 participants to run any class or workshop. Classes or workshops that do not hit the minimum participant requirement will be cancelled with a 72 hour notice.

 

100% refunds will only be given if the cancellation is made up to 7 days (1 week) prior to the class/workshop start date, and no refunds will be given less than 1 week prior to the start of class, however the option to transfer to another class (if space available) or store credit will be offered instead. If a participant missed the class/workshop without prior notice, Art Noise reserves the right to deny a class transfer or store credit to compensate for materials purchased and Instructor wages.
