Wednesday afternoons this summer are for our crafty kids! Join us in the Art Noise classroom with our Summer Crafty specialist, Sam, to learn and create all sorts of crafty things! Each week will have a different focus or project! Crafts that may be explored include: make your own stickers, painted pots, FIMO clay fridge magnets, watercolour relief cards, and more! This program is perfect for kids looking to create in a more project-based format, but is also great for kids looking to gain more art-based skills!

Theme Schedule
July 15 - Art History: Ode to the Greats. Let's have a Monet day and explore his famous water lilies using mixed media. to create a sculptural piece. Then we'll switch to painting to look at his By the Sea painting in a new way!
July 22 - Wizards, Fairies, Magic, Oh My! Beware of dragons in this magical-filled edition of Craft Club! Artists will create their own dragon eggs and a build a wizard to make sure the magic continues once they arrive home.
July 29 - Space Odyssey. Calling all astronauts! Let's build a rocket to start our space journey and explore the galaxy using mixed media.
August 5 - Under the Sea. Let's dive under the waves in this mixed media adventure where artists will explore all sorts of creatures under the sea!
August 12 - Alice's Garden. It's a beautiful day to be in the garden! Let's explore gardens and the creatures we can find there using different art mediums to create our very own garden to take home.
August 19 - Hansel & Gretel Are in Torn: Sweet Treats. It's going to be a SWEET day to join Craft Club! Let's explore making food art in different mediums from collaged pies, cupcake paintings, and end with ice cream sundaes using both collage and painting!
August 26 - Animal Safari. Let's go on safari! We'll focus on paper arts to create a whole savanna of animals and have some wild fun.
This is a drop-off program, which means parents/caregivers are welcome to drop-off their children for the duration of the program and pick them up at the end. If parents/caregivers do choose to stay, you may be asked to wait in the store to help us keep space available for young artists to create with ease!
Please note! Art Noise requires a minimum of 3 participants to run any class or workshop. Classes or workshops that do not hit the minimum participant requirement will be cancelled with a 72 hour notice.
100% refunds will only be given if the cancellation is made up to 7 days (1 week) prior to the class/workshop start date, and no refunds will be given less than 1 week prior to the start of class. However the option to transfer to another class (if space available) or store credit will be offered instead. If a participant missed the class/workshop without prior notice, Art Noise reserves the right to deny a class transfer or store credit to compensate for materials purchased and Instructor wages.
