Creative Club (ages 6-12)

Calling all creative kids! Thursday afternoons this summer are for you! Join us in the Art Noise classroom for this relaxed session of creating where imagination is the key! Young artists will be gently guided and instructed about the how and why of different mediums and activities while still being given the artistic freedom to create. This program is perfect for all kids who just love art and want the flexibility to create and learn some new skills at the same time.

Registration Details: 3 hour session, 1 day

July 16 - Art History: Ode to the Greats. Let's explore the work of Klimt! We'll use metallic paint to explore Klimt's style of figure drawing, and paint your own tree of life. 

July 23 - Wizards, Fairies, Magic, Oh My! Let's make some magic today and create our own magical creatures and explore a magical land in different art mediums.

July 30 - Space Odyssey. Let's blast off on this intergalactic adventure! We'll make a star galaxy splatter painting and use printmaking to create planets.

August 9 - Under the Sea. Let's dive beneath the waves and explore some watercolour coral reefs, who knows? We might some some whales and mermaids!

August 13 - Alice's Garden. Today is all about flowers! We'll explore making flowers in different art mediums to create both a sculptural bouquet and a collaged bouquet. 

August 20 - Hansel & Gretel Are in Town: Sweet Treats. It's snack time! Let's build a candy house in this sweet edition of Creative Club. 

August 27 - Animal Safari. Let's go on safari and find some animals through different art mediums, and create our own sculptural chameleon pals.

This is a drop-off program, which means parents/caregivers are welcome to drop-off their children for the duration of the program and pick them up at the end. If parents/caregivers do choose to stay, you may be asked to wait in the store to help us keep space available for young artists to create with ease!

Please note! Art Noise requires a minimum of 3 participants to run any class or workshop. Classes or workshops that do not hit the minimum participant requirement will be cancelled with a 72 hour notice. 

100% refunds will only be given if the cancellation is made up to 7 days (1 week) prior to the class/workshop start date, and no refunds will be given less than 1 week prior to the start of class. However the option to transfer to another class (if space available) or store credit will be offered instead. If a participant missed the class/workshop without prior notice, Art Noise reserves the right to deny a class transfer or store credit to compensate for materials purchased and Instructor wages.
