Tri-Art Limited Edition - Black Cherry Garnet

A deep oxblood red with a cool, garnet edge. Straight from the tube it sits close to black-red, dense and matte-looking in the mass; drawn thin or brushed over a light ground it clears to a warm brick crimson, and in tints it settles into muted dusty rose rather than pink. This is the red for shadow and structure, the one that darkens a scene without going grey. It glazes beautifully over warm earths and holds every knife ridge and brush mark at full High Viscosity body.

Part of the Tri-Art Limited Edition series. Made in Canada, in 60mL (2.02 fl oz) tubes, with the same buttery, peak-holding High Viscosity body and heavy pigment load as the core line. Once these are gone, they're gone.
