Like all Quinacridone pigments, Quinacridone Red has an extremely high tinting strength and is great for extending with plenty of wax medium to reveal the bluish red undertones. A great alternative to the warmer reds, such as Napthol and Pyrrole when a cooler mixing palette is desired and more vibrant than Alizarin. Quinacridone Red is an organic pigment which means it is extremely light fast, heat stable and a must have in a modern palette.
