Tri-Art Nights: a Monthly Creative Exploration
Hurry up, only 9 items left in stock.
Come TRY ART with Art Noise and Tri-Art Mfg.! In this new series, join us every month for our Tri-Art Night where trained Art Noise staff will present a small demonstration on a featured product or medium made by Tri-Art, followed by participant experimentation!
All materials will be provided, all you need to bring is your creativity (and maybe a notebook). Participants will be encouraged to experiment and create using their own ideas once the demonstration is complete.
Times: 6:30 - 8:30
Wednesday, June 17 (Which is Which? Tri-Art Acrylic Paint Lines)
Confused about what the difference is between all the Tri-Art Acrylic Paints? What does “Liquid” Acrylic mean? What is the main difference between Tri-Art’s High Viscosity and Rheotech paint lines? Join us for this session where we’ll tell you! Participants will also get the chance to test out the different paint lines themselves to see and feel the differences.
July 22: Prepping and Painting Aluminum Panels
Come learn about this alternative substrate that is perfect for all mediums! Aluminum panels are archival quality, non-warping, and mould-resistant, making it the perfect alternative to traditional substrates! Participants will leave with 1 small aluminum panel that they’ve had the chance to experiment with different mediums during the session, and 1 small aluminum panel that they’ve prepped during the session to experiment at home with. The possibilities are endless!
August 12: Acrylic Pouring with Liquid Glass
Join us for this session about the one acrylic medium that forces you to let go! During this session, we will talk about Tri-Art’s Liquid Glass and what you need to do acrylic pours, and how to use it as an acrylic varnish. Participants will each get 3 hard substrates to do liquid glass pours onto to create vivid and abstract pieces on. Please note! Finished pours will need to stay in the Art Noise classroom to dry for a minimum of 48 hours before participants can take them home.
Registration Details: 2 hour session
This is a Creative & Technical Workshop: These classes and workshops that are all about creativity! Students will learn some new skills or learn how to use a new medium, and will have plenty of time to focus on experimentation and their own creativity. This type of class is perfect for students looking for guidance and opportunities to create rather than step-by-step instruction.
Please note! Art Noise requires a minimum of 3 participants to run any class or workshop. Classes or workshops that do not hit the minimum participant requirement will be cancelled with a 72 hour notice.
100% refunds will only be given if the cancellation is made up to 7 days (1 week) prior to the class/workshop start date, and no refunds will be given less than 1 week prior to the start of class. However the option to transfer to another class (if space available) or store credit will be offered instead. If a participant missed the class/workshop without prior notice, Art Noise reserves the right to deny a class transfer or store credit to compensate for materials purchased and Instructor wages.
