This wax medium is a shimmering transparent gold when painted over black and displays a subtle off white with just a hint of yellow/gold over white. This color is hard to capture in a scan or photographs! As you move and the paint catches the light differently, you see reds, yellows, and greens reflecting in the gold. This is an amazing interference effect with a life of its own! Add to any color to give an enhanced metallic/interference effect. Especially effective when added to reds, oranges, yellows, greens, and even blues!
