We have replaced our Alizarin Crimson PR83 with Permanent Alizarin Crimson PR177 due to the fact that the new Alizarin has an extremely high tinting strength, the best lightfast rating and extreme clarity and translucency. Permanent Alizarin Crimson is a deep wine red with blue undertones making it an ideal color for mixing purple and pink tones. An excellent choice for extending with plenty of wax medium to make beautiful transparent glazes, too.
