Head to Toe with Floriana Ehninger-Cuervo (18+)

Join local artist, Floriana Ehninger-Cuervo, in this class that takes you right down from head to toe! Working in dry media, you will create a series of studies of the human body, and through these, you will develop an understanding of the forms and movement of the body. Starting with the head and portrait, this course will cover body parts in isolation, before putting it all together. Throughout the course we also discuss and problem-solve a variety of topics such as foreshortening, posing, capturing a likeness, and more!

This course includes two live model sessions. 

Students are asked to bring their own 11x14” sketchbook. Students are welcome to bring their own kneaded eraser, white eraser, and pencils (HB, something lighter like 2H-4H and some darker like 2B-6B), but will also have access to our classroom supply.

All other materials will be provided!

Times: 5-7pm

Date: Tuesdays, September 29 - December 1

Registration Details: 10 weeks, 2 hour sessions

 Please note! Art Noise requires a minimum of 3 participants to run any class or workshop. Classes or workshops that do not hit the minimum participant requirement will be cancelled with a 72 hour notice. 

100% refunds will only be given if the cancellation is made up to 7 days (1 week) prior to the class/workshop start date, and no refunds will be given less than 1 week prior to the start of class. However the option to transfer to another class (if space available) or store credit will be offered instead. If a participant missed the class/workshop without prior notice, Art Noise reserves the right to deny a class transfer or store credit to compensate for materials purchased and Instructor wages.
