The B-Series nib made its debut in the 2nd edition of The Speedball Textbook®, in 1916.  Like the A-Series, the B-Series has a bent end to form a “shoe” that can easily produce a uniform width line.  Unlike its counterpart, the Speedball B-Series nib has a rounded finish that makes it ideal for creating sans serif letters without thick and thin lines.  

Available in (8) nib widths, the B-Series is perfect for creating a variety of monoline lettering, drawn letters (e.g. Versals) and “built-up” letters, such as the Double Stroke Poster Roman.  Suitable for use with any straight/classic style penholder.

Orders are shipped via Canada Post, at the rate selected at checkout. Rates are calculated based on weight and package size.

International shipping is available at checkout. International orders are shipped via UPS. Any customs fees are the responsibility of the purchaser. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout, we do not offer free shipping on international orders. Unfortunately we are unable to ship to the EU at this time.

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be unused, unopened and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Art Noise does not offer refunds or exchange for original fine art purchased in our gallery.  If the artwork is damaged in shipping, we will work with you on a per-case basis to resolve the issue.
