Very nearly black, and unmistakably teal. Deep Baltic reads as a cold, deep-water blue-green at full strength, so dark that it works anywhere you would otherwise reach for black, but with a colour temperature that black can never give you. Thinned, it opens into clean petrol green; mixed into white, it drops into pale, misty aqua across a surprisingly wide range. Use it for shadow passages, night skies and underpainting beneath warm reds and oranges, where the contrast does most of the work for you.

Part of the Tri-Art Limited Edition series. Made in Canada, in 60mL (2.02 fl oz) tubes, with the same buttery, peak-holding High Viscosity body and heavy pigment load as the core line. Once these are gone, they're gone.
