About Tri-Art Liquid Acrylic
Tri-Art Liquids - Interference Blue is a single colour in the Tri-Art Liquid Acrylic range, a highly pigmented fluid acrylic paint designed for pouring, glazing, detail work, and smooth applications. It has a flowing consistency that moves easily across the surface while keeping strong colour strength even in thin layers.
Interference Blue is a versatile choice for skies, water, and cool shadows. Special effect pigments in this colour create shimmering, colour shifting surfaces.
Tri-Art Liquid Acrylic is ideal for washes, drips, transparent layers, and acrylic pouring, and also works well for airbrush and calligraphy when properly thinned.
At Art Noise, we recommend these liquids when you want intense colour that flows easily and levels out without losing its vibrancy.
How to use this liquid acrylic
Use Tri-Art Liquids - Interference Blue on clean, dry, primed surfaces such as canvas, panels, paper, or properly sealed wood. Shake or stir the paint well before use so the pigment is fully dispersed.
For pouring techniques, combine the colour with an appropriate acrylic pouring medium until you reach a smooth, flowing consistency. Avoid thinning heavily with water alone, since that can weaken the paint film. For glazing, mix small amounts of colour into gloss or matte medium to create transparent layers.
You can also use these liquids in refillable markers or airbrush setups. If airbrushing, thin with the recommended medium and strain the paint before filling the cup. Clean tools and equipment promptly with soap and water.
Technical details and safety
Tri-Art Liquid Acrylic uses an acrylic polymer emulsion binder and has a fluid viscosity that typically dries to a smooth satin or gloss finish, depending on the colour and any mediums used.
The colours are formulated with high quality artist pigments for strong lightfastness when used indoors and cared for properly. As with all acrylics, do not let paint dry in sinks or drains. Wipe excess paint from palettes and rags before washing, keep products out of reach of children and pets, and store at room temperature away from freezing or extreme heat.
