Beginner Watercolours with Marta Scythes

Explore the beauty of watercolour painting in a fun and supportive environment. Paint and paper properties, and brush types will be discussed so the learner can make informed choices. Several painting techniques will be demonstrated including wet on dry, wet on wet. and drybrush. A variety of subjects will be studied with a focus on small landscape exercises. Basic colour theory and paint mixing strategies will be discussed and employed. 

 Students will be provided with all basic materials including various watercolour paper samples to work with throughout the course of class.

Registration Details: 4 weeks, 3 hour sessions

Please note! Art Noise requires a minimum of 4 participants to run any class or workshop. Classes or workshops that do not hit the minimum participant requirement will be cancelled with a 72 hour notice. 

100% refunds will only be given if the cancellation is made up to 7 days (1 week) prior to the class/workshop start date, and no refunds will be given less than 1 week prior to the start of class. However the option to transfer to another class (if space available) or store credit will be offered instead. If a participant missed the class/workshop without prior notice, Art Noise reserves the right to deny a class transfer or store credit to compensate for materials purchased and Instructor wages.
